Email forward worth reading

I get a ton of forwards in email. So many sometimes that I just start deleting them. Most of these are in thanks to my Dad (love you Dad!) who has recently retired and likes to find forwards that we might like and send them off to us to read during our workdays. Sweet gesture, definitely, just tends to clutter my inbox that I’m frantically¬†trying to get down to the last ‘action item’ on my list. However, my sister Michelle sent a forward yesterday to my other email account and I¬†skimmed through it.¬†Right into the second sentence I knew it was something I wanted to read. So I forwarded it to my work email to save for this morning.

I opened my inbox to only about 15 emails – I immediately went to the forward from Michelle and read it. With tears in my eyes,¬† I wanted to kneel right down in my cube and thank Jesus for His death on the cross. I wanted to understand more of God’s mercy and grace and the depth for which He loves us. This type of forward is perfect for non-believers to read. It is simple¬†yet truth. It is a story, written out that you can visual in your head as you are reading. I’ve found in my witnessing opportunities that sometimes Scripture can be overwhelming and intimidating for some. Scripture sometimes does that to me and I’ve known the Lord for a long time and studied the Word for a while. But something like this, in its simplest form, ¬†in a story that anyone can grasp, does make a point. Maybe plants a seed? Worth a shot. Just read it and forward it on if you’d like. I’m going to.

After living what I felt was a ‘decent’ life, my time on earth came to the end.¬†

The first thing I remember is sitting on a bench in the waiting room of what I thought to be a court house..

The doors opened and I was instructed to come in and have a seat by the defense table.

As I looked around I saw the ‘prosecutor.’¬† He was a¬†villainous looking gent who snarled as he stared at me.¬†He definitely was the most evil person I have ever¬† seen..

I sat down and looked to my left and there sat My Attorney,  kind and gentle looking man whose appearance seemed so familiar to me, I felt I knew Him. The corner door flew open and there appeared the Judge in full flowing robes.

He commanded an awesome¬†presence as He moved across the room I couldn’t take my¬†eyes off of Him.

As He took His seat behind the bench, He said, ‘Let us begin.’

The prosecutor rose and said,’ My name is Satan and I am here to show you why this woman belongs in hell…’

He proceeded to tell of lies that I told, things that I stole, and In the past when I cheated others Satan told of other horrible Perversions that were once in my life and the more he spoke, the further down in my seat I sank.

I was so embarrassed that I couldn’t look at anyone, even my own Attorney, as the Devil told of sins that even I had completely forgotten¬†about.¬†

As upset as I was at Satan for telling all these things about me, I was equally upset at My Attorney who sat there silently not Offering any form of defense at all..

I know I had been guilty of those things, but I had done¬†some good in my life – couldn’t that at least equal out¬†part of the harm I’d done?¬†

Satan finished with a fury and said, ‘This woman belongs in¬†hell, she is guilty of all that I have charged and there is not a person who can prove¬†otherwise.’¬†

When it was His turn, My Attorney first asked if He might approach the bench. The Judge allowed this over the strong objection of Satan, and beckoned Him to come forward.

As He got up and started walking, I was able to see Him in His full splendor and majesty. I realized why He seemed so familiar; this was Jesus representing me, my Lord and my
Savior…¬†

He¬†stopped at the bench and softly said to the Judge, ‘Hi, Dad,’ and then He turned to address the¬†court.

‘Satan was correct in saying that this¬†woman had sinned, I won’t deny any of these allegations.¬†¬†And, yes, the wage of sin is death, and this woman¬†deserves to be punished…’

Jesus took a deep¬†breath and turned to His Father with outstretched arms¬†and proclaimed, ‘However, I died on the cross so that¬†this person might have eternal life and she has accepted¬†Me as her Savior, so she is Mine.’¬†

My Lord¬†continued with, ‘Her name is written in the Book of¬†Life, ¬†and no one can snatch her from¬†Me.

Satan still does not understand yet.¬†¬†This woman is not to be given justice, but rather¬†mercy.’

As Jesus sat down, He quietly¬†paused, looked at His Father and said, ‘There is nothing¬†else that needs to be done.’

‘I’ve done it¬†all.’

The Judge lifted His mighty hand and slammed the gavel down… The following words bellowed from His lips..

‘This woman is free.’¬†

The penalty for her has already been paid in full.

‘Case dismissed.’

As my Lord led me¬†away, I could hear Satan ranting and raving, ‘I won’t give up, I will win the next one.’ I asked Jesus as He¬†gave me my instructions where to go next, ‘Have you ever¬†lost a case?’¬†

Christ lovingly smiled and said,

‘Everyone that has come to Me and asked Me¬†to represent them has received the same verdict as¬†you.‚Äô

Eiley – 10 Months

The last time I saw this little cutie she was only two months old. Now look at her! 10 months and growing more and more everyday. Her famous trademark, her hair, was still as gorgeous as ever and her big blue eyes had me captivated during our session. She smiled the entire time – and I just loved watching her! This is one of the best parts about my job…watching as little ones grow into toddlers, photographing a little newborn whose parents had hired me to shoot their wedding a couple of years earlier. I love the stages of life! They are beautiful!

Eiley, you are such a sweetheart! Thank you for playing with me on that sunny afternoon and for showing me all of your great toys! Keep smiling and make sure Mommy & Daddy keep your hair growing –¬† You are beautiful!

Kaczrowski Klan + Some

You might remember when I captured little Maxwell a few weeks ago. Well, I had the pleasure of seeing little Max again with his 3 other cousins – all boys! and their entire family. It was a beautiful afternoon with a truly great family. I have heard a lot about them, so to put a face with the name was fun for me. I love what I do, and I love blessing people with memories caught in a photograph. We had a lot of those memories made during this session. One of my favorite moments was when Grandma couldn’t even look at her husband because she was so overwhelmed with love, happiness, and pure joy at the family surrounding her. You could see the joy pouring out of her while she stared at him. There were a lot of little moments with the boys, complete with bribing using candy corn, and making crazy noises to try to get them to look at the camera. Those boys all love their Uncle Joe, and we attempted to put all of them on a swing so we could capture a photo. We got a few before literally all of them started bawling. Those are the moments I remember from sessions, and those are the moments I love to capture on my camera.

Kaczrowski family, thank you for allowing me into your home to capture this special time in your life! What a beautiful, fun-loving, and sweet family you have! I’m so glad all of you are together! Happy Thanksgiving!

Rachel & Julia

These 2 sisters were an absolute joy to be around! Rachel and Julia are about 2 years apart and they have a great time together. Aren’t they beautiful? I always love watching the dynamics of siblings this young. You can pick up on how observant the younger ones are to their ‘big’ sister and Julia was no exception. She wanted to climb UP the slide just like Rachel was. She wanted to swing…just like Rachel did. She basically wanted to do everything she did…except wear the pink tutu I brought along. Rachel gladly threw it on and twirled around the yard. I’ve known their mom through work at Target for about 5 years. She was my very first boss there and it was so pleasing to me to watch her with her family – there is something about taking someone I work with out of that environment that is always fun for me.

W family, thanks for having me over to capture your family! Enjoy your sneek peek!

Blake & Luke

These 2 little brothers were absolutely adorable. Blake & Luke are about 2 years apart and just the cutest little boys. It was so much fun for me to spend a few hours with them! Poor Luke had been sick the night before with the flu…but wow, was he a trooper. We played outside, Blake showed me all of his footballs, and his gummy worms, and the rocks outside of his house…and Luke loved his cheerios when his tummy was upset. I know their mom through Target, so I truly enjoyed seeing this side of her life. I know I say this a lot – but I’m so blessed by what I’m able to do, and how I’m able to bless families.

J family, enjoy your sneek peek!

Baby Jacob

You may remember this beautiful family from a couple of years back. At that time it was Adam, Jackie, and Jeter…now they have a new addition!

Jacob D Ross born May 19, 2009

He is absolutely precious! He was only a few of weeks old when I had this session with him and I was amazed and how alert he was whenever I had my camera up and ready to shoot. He would often times just follow me around. It made for some beautiful awake moments and then, when he got too tired, we got some great ‘sleepy’ shots. He is such a sweet little one.

I’m so happy for you, Adam & Jackie, and wish you many beautiful years with little Jacob. Enjoy your sneek peek and thank you for allowing me to capture your family in your different stages of life!
